VIS and VIP apartments in Bello: what changes in your finishes
What to expect from a shell-stage VIS or VIP apartment, and where it's worth investing first.

What are VIS and VIP apartments, and why are there so many in Bello?
VIS (Vivienda de Interés Social) and VIP (Vivienda de Interés Prioritario) are housing categories with a sale-price cap set by Colombian regulation, designed to expand access to homeownership. Bello concentrates a large share of recent development of this type in the Aburrá Valley, driven by the city's growth and access to Metro Line A.
What changes in the finishes compared to a non-VIS apartment?
Size is the most noticeable difference: VIS and VIP apartments tend to have more compact areas, which makes it even more important to make good use of every square meter, especially in the kitchen and closets. The shell-stage delivery condition is the same as in any other project — the construction stage doesn't change because it's VIS or VIP.
Where is it worth investing first in a VIS or VIP apartment?
Kitchen and bathrooms are the spaces with the biggest impact on daily use and resale value, and where the difference between an Essential and a Plus level shows the most. In compact spaces, well-designed closets (sliding doors, full height) pay off more than in a large apartment.
Does the quote simulator work the same way for VIS and VIP apartments?
Yes. The calculation is based on real square meters and the chosen finish level, with no different rate for VIS or VIP housing — you can get a quote for your specific case in minutes.
